Data Mining vs Data Analysis

Hello guys. I am getting a little confused about Data Mining and Data Analysis. For me it looks like both are the same thing. I know that there's some difference but I dont know what. Can someone tell me how they are different?

Data Mining is used to recognize patterns in Data stored. It is mainly used for Machine Learning. What happens here is, the Analyst will write an algorithm to search for patterns in the data set. This algorithm is run and patterns are recognized.

Data Analysis is used to order and organize raw data in a way that it makes sense and can be used in a meaningful way. This is not a one person job usually. There are different people of different roles doing different actions on the Data.

Data analysis includes extracting, cleaning, transforming, modeling and visualization of data to make useful meaning of it. Whereas Data mining is a part of Data Analysis use to identify and discover patterns in Big Data.
