Hi Guys,

I am trying to run kubectl get pods command inside Docker conatiner. But it is showing me the below error.

jenkins@f3460123b771:/root/.kube$ kubectl get pods
The connection to the server localhost:8080 was refused - did you specify the right host or port?

How can I solve this error?

Hi@akhtar,

You may get this error if Kubectl command did not able to find your config file. So create one .kube folder and move your config file inside this folder. It will solve this error.

what is contain for Config file. where can I get it.

This config file contains the information of your Kubernetes cluster. Go to your Kubernetes master node and search .kube folder. There you can find your config file. Now You need to create .kube folder in your docker container. After that copy the config file from Master node to .kube folder in your docker container.
