aws snowball and aws direct connect are to migrate a high volume of data from on-premise data centers to AWS but what is the key difference

Hi dear community,

I need to understand what is the difference between aws snowball and aws direct connect?

From what I read both are to migrate a high volume of data from on-premise data centers to AWS, but I still do not get the key difference.

AWS Snowball is a petabyte-scale data transport and edge computing device that comes with on-board storage and compute capabilities. It is used for a high resource in our Edge location. But AWS Direct Connect lets you establish a dedicated network connection between your network and one of the AWS Direct Connect locations. It will not allow you to work in your edge location. This enables you to use the same connection to access public resources such as objects stored in Amazon S3 using public IP address space.
