How do I create a new queue using boto in AWS SQS? Can I please have the code?

Try this code:

# Get the service resource
sqs = boto3.resource('sqs')

# Create the queue. This returns an SQS.Queue instance
que = sqs.create_queue(QueueName='test', Attributes={'DelaySeconds': '5'})

# You can now access identifiers and attributes
print(que.url)
print(que.attributes.get('DelaySeconds'))
