According to recent data from Indeed, cybersecurity job roles including IT Security Specialist, Security Engineer etc are among the fastest growing and most in-demand job roles in the market today. The report also found that most professionals who are trying out for these roles are not adequately skilled to be hired.

Cybersecurity is one of the few technologies that has a gaping hole between supply and demand in the market today.

Microblogging social networking platform, Twitter is hiring! The giant is looking for professionals to join its wide range of teams including Data Science and Analytics, Design and Research, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and several other non-IT roles. The job vacancies are spread across the company’s various branches including Bengaluru, Toronto, Amsterdam, Delhi, Dubai, and many more. Monolith Soft is Continuing its Hiring Spree, Lists Several New Job Vacancies

Nintendo subsidiary and the developer of top-selling videogame titles like Xenosaga, Dragon Ball Z, and Super Robot, Monolith Soft seems to be focussing on its expansion this year. The 19-year-old company just recently surpassed 200 employees and has now listed a number of new job openings. The gaming giant is looking for Tool/Environment Programmers, System/Framework Programmers, UI/UX Planners, UI Programmers, Project Managers, Network Programmers, and UI/UX Designers.

Most of the listed roles are technology-centric so they are perfect for anyone who is looking to get into the gaming space but comes from a tech background.

10 Per Cent Rise in Hiring in Delhi and Mumbai in HY1 2019 – 2020: Report by Wisdomjobs.com

A recent article by Wisdomjobs.com reported that there was a 10 per cent increase in hiring in the Delhi and Mumbai regions in the first half of the 2019 – 2020 financial year. According to the survey, 10 out of the 18 recognized sectors in these regions including IT, travel, hospitality, and BPO/ITeS sectors saw a positive growth while the rest saw a decline in numbers. The report also states that we can expect an overall growth of 123,000+ by this end of the first half of this year in the aforementioned sectors.

IBM is Laying Off 0.5 Per Cent of Its Workforce, 1,700 Professionals to Lose their Jobs

IBM recently issued a statement stating that they are laying off half a per cent of its employees in an attempt to reposition their team to align with their focus on the high-value segments of the IT market. This development will cause 1,700 professionals to lose their jobs. The tech conglomerate stated that this “small percentage of employees” were not performing “at a competitive level” and would be let go. The takeaway here is that companies are becoming more focussed on their visions and will entertain only competent professionals with updated skills sets.
