A recent report by EPFO and NASSCOM indicates that the Indian IT sector has created over 873,000 jobs in the last half-decade. India has always been one of the biggest contributors to the IT industry and this new development just highlights that the subcontinent’s job market is stronger than ever. According to the NASSCOM report, the country’s IT sector currently constitutes 4.1 million direct jobs and 12 million indirect jobs. What’s more, is that several percents of these jobs still need to be filled by the right candidates.
