Smart Assistants to Move into Corporate Offices by 2021

IDC, a global marketing intelligence firm, has recently released a study that predicts what the offices of the future will look like. According to the analysis, 22 percent of well-known organizations across the globe will have deployed smart assistants like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Microsoft Cortana etc in their workplaces within the next 3 years. This development will result in a cost saving of over $1 billion. According to Bryan Ma, IDC Asia Pacific’s VP of client devices, developers and businesses will find new, intuitive and creative ways of taking advantages of these services.

SBI to Hire Only 10,000 Professionals to Replace its 12,000 Retiring Workforce

Global technological shifts are changing the way most corporations function. This can be further emphasized by a new announcement by the State Bank of India who stated that they will only be hiring 75 percent new technology professionals to replace its retiring workforce. The financial and banking giant stated that it is looking to hire skilled professionals who will get the job done rather than fill 12,000 positions with candidates that will need to be trained.
