A Beginning to ITSM
ITIL® is a set of practices in service management to IT services to business. It describes processes, procedures, tasks and checklist which are not specific to organizations. It can be used in fulfilling specific organizational objectives like integration of organization strategy, delivering value and maintaining competency.
The Foundation level is the entry level qualification which offers a general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL® life cycle, including the links between life cycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to service management practices. Hence a beginning to ITSM.
