Hi this is vignesh i have 3.5 years of experience in Java/j2ee and related technologies. I also took hadoop training from edureka and also i am edureka certified hadoop developer. So after gaining some practical knowledge and doing some POC on Mapreduce, Now i have planned to switch job into BigData industry.

I am a Backup Admin (Symantec Netbackup, EMC Avamar and Data Domain & Storage Technologies) with 7+ years of experience. I would like to learn Hadoop Developer training program and move into development side only. I am much more interested into development side rather than admin side. I am a novice in Hadoop and it’s technology and programming side and my entire experience in admin side only. I do not know anything about Hadoop (ie: not even abcd of it). I do not know anything about programming ie: Java or SQL things, maybe I have forget after my engg. I have completed my B.Tech (Information Technology) in computers stream in 2006. Please kindly help and suggest me if this is the correct move/decision at this time and let me know if I will have the opportunities with this kind of decision/move. I would like to know if there are any people with these kind of success rate? and is it a good decision/option at this point? Future on, I never ever want to go to Admin field. Will the Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CCDH)(Exam Code: CCD-410) or any other Hadoop Developer certification be added advantage? Please kindly help me and suggest me with the right career path in this regard as I am not at all interested in any kind of admin job/field/stream(sorry to say this). I have checked up few institutes/training centers but feel doubt, are they trying to earn money and somehow the individual join their institute? Also, is it possible to help modify my resume accordingly or show any references or provide any guidance to thru the interview or any case in this regard?
