    Hi Edureka,

I am having 5+ years of experience with developing j2se and j2ee technologies, but last 4 years i am completely working with core Java and other technologies so i am facing challenges to switch the job as i am unaware of spring, hibernate and other GUI technologies and framework.

For obvious in order to sustain in IT one way is to learn these technologies or learn new technology like big-data hadoop. So my questions is here, will i be treated as fresher once i learn big-data hadoop technologies (with 5+ j2se experience) or do i need to go with spring hibernate and other frameworks ?

Its being very confusing because many jobs are out there for spring + hibernate combinations and for big-data hadoop is a kind a somewhat future proof.

    Thank you,

    Awaiting for you valuable input.

    Regards,
    Shrikant

    • EdurekaSupport says:

Hey Shrikant, no you will not be treated as a fresher. Since, you already have working experience with advanced Java, adding Big Data to your resume will be a big plus point. Most recruiters look for hands-on experience in Java and very good understanding of Big Data frameworks. You will be one of the ideal candidates to switch to Big Data. Hope this helps :)
